Some media outlets are giving Sarah Palin a hard time today for apparently consulting notes written on the palm of her hand during her weekend appearance at the Tea Party convention.
The notes consisted of reminders such as "energy," "budget," "tax" and a call to "lift American spirit."
Some commentators noted that during her speech to the Nashville convention, Palin mocked Obama for his habit of using a Teleprompter.
Palin supporters, meanwhile, point out that the former Alaska governor responded to "Palm-gate" in an appearance Sunday for Texas Gov. Rick Perry. This time, she wrote on her hand: "Hi, Mom!"
