Scholarship For Service (SFS) is a unique program designed to increase and strengthen the cadre of federal information assurance professionals that protect the government's critical information infrastructure. This program provides scholarships that fully fund the typical costs that students pay for books, tuition, and room and board while attending an approved institution of higher learning. Additionally, participants receive stipends of up to $8,000 for undergraduate and $12,000 for graduate students. PartyDock does four-player iPhone/iPad gaming with just one device

Huddling around the iPhone, squinting at a tiny LCD is no way to spend your game nights. Even with an iPad the idea of multiplayer, single-device, cheek-to-cheek gaming doesn't sound much more appealing... unless it's one of those parties, perhaps. Anyhow, Griffin is apparently looking to make four-way iDevice gaming a little more palatable with the PartyDock, just spotted crossing the great FCC. It has a dock connector for your iPhone, iPod, or iPad and four simple wireless controllers for interacting with four-player games, pumped to your TV over composite and component. It basically creates a simple gaming console out of your portable device, an interesting idea, but what will make or break it will naturally be the software. Griffin has a few four-player games it will release for the thing, but short of a flood of titles hitting the App Store we have a hard time believing this will be a hit -- whenever it ships, and for whatever it sells ...

Luckily, USBFever has a hacktastic solution to this problem (a followup to their iPhone 3G version), with a new $30 case that can host dual full size SIM cards on the back of an iPhone 4 (entombed in some classy clear plastic, naturally), while running an adapter to the iPhone 4's micro SIM slot. TiVo Slide Remote review

The TiVo Slide Remote is officially available for sale today, for $89, and will hit Best Buy stores this weekend but TiVo was nice enough to send us one a bit early so we could play. The Slide is considerably shorter than the TiVo Peanut we've come to love, but at the same thickness it slides out to reveal a full QWERTY keyboard. It's actually a full Bluetooth remote, so even if the keyboard doesn't interest you, the remote's ability to work without a line of sight to the TiVo might draw you in. I actually already have a very similar tool for this on my Mac called iPhone Explorer, but Phone Disk may just offer a more elegant solution. All you have to do is install the Mac or Windows client, load it up, register it with the free official serial key (available until December 1st), and plug your iPhone in. It should then show up like any other mounted drive on your computer, and I see it popping up quite nicely in Finder (the Mac counterpart to Explorer). Use Milk Paint to Give Furniture a Worn and Vintage Look 

If you're looking for a distressed and weather-beaten look, a little elbow grease and some milk paint and give any piece of furniture a vintage look.

Design*Sponge, a DIY and design blog, has shared a tutorial on using some basic tools and some old-fashioned milk paint to artificially age furniture. You'll need some furniture to experiment with, an orbital sander (for a small piece, you could probably get away with a sanding sponge but the orbital sander would certainly speed things up), rags, a paint brush, milk paint, furniture wax, and some water-based poly sealer.
